Hola, hace bastante tiempo que vnia usando el kernel linux-2.6.22-gentoo-r5, cuando me entere que en la version 2.6.23 estaba incluido el driver para mi tarjeta usb wireless rtl8187 y además que venia incluido por defecto el nuevo controlador fb uvesafb, instale el kernel nuevo, funciona todo ok, menos uvesafb

A mi me ha extrañado que en gentoo-2.6.23-r1 no he podido elegir entre vesafb y vesafb-tng...

¿Ya han retirado vesafb?
Y esta es mi linea del grub, al bootear obtengo 1024x768 pero no he podido emerger splashutils..

claro que no puedes elegir vesa tng porque ahora es uvesafb.  , el la evolución por así decirlo.
