how can i get networkmanager to not look for any networks on boot?

Basically, I do want it to load, but I don't want it to look for a network and slow down the rc scripts and my booting time. I want to do this when i load kde through knetworkmanager.

Thanks.

he does that?

i use nm in a laptop and it doesnt slow nothing...

only starts and waits to talk with the applet...

if your problem is the "slowing" if you edit the init and run with & no other script will wait for him

ahh never mind. i found out what was the problem.

It's just that i had deleted net.eth0 and net.wlan0 from my rc startup, but during boot, it would always load. I thought it was the NetworkManager daemon.... but it wasn't. It seemed that it was some type of automatic device initiation. Something like coldplug. So i had to edit a line in /etc/init.d/rc

More specific help on this link for those who may need it. Tks for your time :D
