nvidia ver. 97, Geforce4 4000, Samsung 732N, LCD is Pulsing

Okay my problem is on my wifes computer. I bought her a new monitor and I'm have a problem. The screen seems to pulse. I've can seem to fix the problem unless I use the generic "NV" drivers. If you know how to fix this let me know.
