Hello,
I have a question... I am making a binary system image which is based on a gentoo stage3 plus some other software preinstalled, for redistribution. I want to comply with all the open source license requirements, so I want to distribute all the source (and build scripts etc) that go into making the stage3 together with the binary, as required by the GPL/LGPL/whatever licenses of a number of the components thereof. Where do I find those and how do I package them? (P.S. Yes, they are all in portage... do I need to tarball a whole portage mirror whenever I do this or is there a more specific way to package them?)
Thank you! |

add "bindist" to your USE variable in /etc/make.conf
more info on that.
