Speedup compiling process on an old Performa : distcc on OSX

Hi,

I'm installing a Gentoo on an old Performa 5400 (PPC603e processor / 138 Mo) and the compilation process is so slooow (what is of course understandable).

I want to speedup that process a lit bit by using distcc and use a Macbook and MacbookPro which are on the some network. The problem seems to be that a need to do some crosscompiling on the two laptops (PPC generation on X86 arch).

I understood that I need to generate a adaptated compiling toolchain with crossdev by reading the whole documentation. I didn't found crossdev for OSX (neither in Macport nor in Fink) so I have no clue how to do that.

Did anybody already did that and could help me out ?
