I've been wrestling with my gentoo recently over my tv card. I've managed to get xawtv up and running, but the only thing I can't seem to do is record video. In a console output would go as follows after starting the program and trying to record video:

I've used my tv card many times before in Redhat to record spongebob squarepants and star trek episodes without any problems, so I'm having trouble understanding why grabbing isn't supported. Is it a software thing or maybe a bad configuration on my part?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.  |
