Hi,

what's your fav file manager?

atm. I'm on Konqueror, but this sucks with fluxbox. ;)

far with windblows

After learning more and more cool features of the shell i hardly use a filemanager at all. Mostly to show Windoze people how great Konqueror's preview mode is. :lol:

That's the beauty of mc. Its a filemanager and allows access to your shell at the same time. You can run commands from the shell by typing them, or you can click your way around for other things. That's why I use MC. "It ain't purdy", but it works really well.

I use both shell and nautilus, just depends which task has to be done.

I haven't used a file manager in the last two years. It's all shell stuff or PHP web-based interface.

I used emelfm, wich was not bad... and then tried gentoo (yes there's a filemanager called like that) and I just love it....

Shell and Gnome Commander. Although GC has some way to go, I like it a lot. It's fast and easy to use.

in tty: just bash, rarely mc
kde: konqueror
fluxbox: rox

i've tried quite a few file managers, but that's what i ended up with :D
