hi, i have updated my proftpd from 1.2.8 to 1.2.9 but when i start the service i got this
| Code: | funkyshit root # /etc/init.d/proftpd start
* Starting proftpd...
start-stop-daemon: stat /usr/sbin/proftpd: No such file or directory [ !! |
There isn't that binary

any idea ? |

Looks like the ebuild is broken and not installed the files after building them.
do a diff between proftpd-1.2.8 and proftpd-1.2.9 ebuilds in /usr/portage/net-ftp/proftpd/
I think changing "make" in 1.2.9 on line 84 to "einstall" will fix the problem.
