Has anybody got it working? The xmms-arts plugin stopped working for me in kde cvs. The oss plugin for xmms however works with my soundblaster. |

You could try to use the oss-plugin, but start xmms with "artsdsp xmms".
Should work, I think, since the artsdsp command gives a dsp-like device to the application. So the app itself doesn't need arts-support itself. This should also work with apps like mozilla et al.

Try the OSS-output-plugin, However, alsa might work also

artsdsp basically pipes any OSS sound to arts. Alsa is much more complicated to pipe, so I'm not sure if that works. |
