Tonight I upgraded our churches samba...had a pam upgrade in there too. Now it seems to want to authenticate users no matter what, but they are simply open shares that used to map perfectly as guest with no password.

How, oh how, can I unsecure my rig again?

I tried setting the pam/samba file to read 'optional' for both authentication and password, but the windows boxen still request a password when trying to read information, and there is no way to supply a correct one. This is an open share and should stay that way.
