|

I'm trying to emerge compiz-fusion. I've got all of the required ~x86 packages unmasked and everything, except here's the situation: I use XFCE as my desktop environment, but there's a bunch of KDE apps that I use. So, I bring those in as needed, and plan on using the KDE meta ebuilds if necessary.
But, when I want to emerge compiz-fusion, it insists on pulling in kdebase, and not kdebase-meta. So I would have to end up un-emerging about 15-20 offending ebuilds that are part of kdebase, but are blocking it. Of course, if I could make compiz-fusion depend on kdebase-meta, I wouldn't have that problem. How do I go about fixing that?
EDIT: Solution: emerge kdebase-meta, then emerge compiz-fusion. |
