I'm hoping someone familar with the format of CUPS PPD files will stumble upon this thread and will be able to help.
I have a Dymo LabelWriter 400 connected via USB. CUPS has detected it and installed the driver bundled with CUPS however the PPD file it includes doesn't support the continuous paper that Dymo sell for use in these printers.
I tried adding a few lines to the PPD file (I guessed at the syntax based on the existing lines for other paper sizes) to add support for the continuous paper but if I try using it the jobs just sit in the queue and nothing prints.
I'm sure that someone that knows a thing or two about what a PPD file should look like will be able to show me where I went wrong. I've uploaded a diff of the PPD file to show the lines I added to pastebin.com
If there's any other info you need I'll gladly provide it or if anyone has any ideas I'd be keen to hear them |
