sto cercando di far funzionare il tv-out della mia scheda (una geffo2 ti)

con questo la tv (oddio non ho provato a riavviare il pc, penso basti riavviare X) non da segni di vita... premetto che so soltanto il vertical refresh della tv (50Hz) ma il log di xfree mi da questo:

avevo commentato la riga sbagliata 
cmq... ora riavviando ho lo stesso output di xfree ma HO VISTO FLICKERARE LA TV! quindi qualcosa sta funzionando... solo ho sempre l'output nero

la tv si prende l'output correttamente.. non vorrei che l'uscita svideo che ha questa scheda fosse selettiva (noia che avevo riscontrato anche sotto win)
se così fosse, sarebbe possibile bindare il tutto ad un bottone come su alcuni portatili? tipo un CTRL+F11?

ok nvtv pare faccia il caso mio.. ma quando avvio il twinview da nvtv mi cambia risoluzione anche sul desktop e questo mi da fastidio... perchè il desktop è oversized rispetto alla risoluzione... come si fa a sistemare sta cosa?
