sorry if i should have put these in seperate posts, but i didnt.

when i try running a java game in MozillaFirebird (0.6) it closes and outputs to the console:
Code:
INTERNAL ERROR on Browser End: Exec of "java_vm" failed: 13
<
System error?:: Permission denied
INTERNAL ERROR on Browser End: Could not read ack from browser
System error?:: Resource temporarily unavailable

i use blackdown-jre-1.4 and the plugin is in the right dir. i followed the gentoo java guide.

i emerged openoffice-bin (1.1_beta) but when i try to run it it says:
Code:
 $ oowriter
Gnome session manager detected - session management disabled
running openoffice.org setup...
setup failed.. abort

this happens with any of the OO commands, and i use gnome2.

when i try to type a tilde, apostrophe, or quote, i must press it twice. if i press it once it doesnt show up and beeps when i press a different character. its a regular qwerty keyboard w/ deadkeys; my xf86config says:
Code:
Section "InputDevice"

    Identifier  "Keyboard1"
    Driver      "Keyboard"
    Option "AutoRepeat" "500 30"
    Option "XkbRules"   "xfree86"
    Option "XkbModel"   "pc104"
    Option "XkbLayout"  "us_intl"

EndSection

ok, i fixed the keyboard problem myself. i had deadkeys enabled when in fact i do not have deadkeys. i had originally thought deadkeys were the windoze buttons, but a little research cleared that up :) i still need help on the other two issues. i tried 2 releases of OO (1.1beta and 1.0.3) and they both did the same thing.
