|
|
Hello board.
I Ran into this issue during a new clean install. After i've extracted the tarbells, and chrooted into the system. I try to emerge portage and it wants to emerge apps-shells/bash-3.2_p17 which fails with the error
Code: | error: c compiler cannot create executables. |
I looked around on the forums a bit, but didn't find anything recent.
Any thoughts??? _________________ Stratman4300

please make sure you have proc mounted and are not trying to install a 64-bit system from a 32-bit live-cd. _________________ Configuring a Firewall? Try my iptables configuration

In many cases, the c compiler cannot create executables due to a typo in the CFLAGS setting.
A common mistake is using "-02" when it should be "-O2". |
