Can't read audio cd, how do I do this?

Hi

I use banshee for my music player. I put a cd in and it say's it doesn't reconize the tracks. It's a store purchased cd so I know it's written correctly Anyone know how to fix this?

try strating hal daemon by running /etc/init.d/hald start as root
if that helped run rc-update add hald default to make it start automatically on every bootup
