I have a Xitel Inport usb sound which I used under Windows to copy from records to cds. I would like to use it under linux. I am using the alsa-driver package, not the drivers in the kernel. I already have my pci sound card working.
In my /etc/make.conf I have: | Code: | | ALSA_CARDS="cmipci usb-audio" |

When I run alsaconf, I only get an option to configure the cmipci card, not the usb card.

Hey, any luck with this? I have the same unit and xitel inport. I was trying out my step fathers ION usb turntable and got it working with snd-usb-audio but cant get this bugger working. Any feedback would be appreciated
