The packages fontconfig-2.4.1, all fail to emerge when the doc use flag is used. Here are the errors:

Obviously the problems are related. Unfortunately, re-emerging openjade-1.3.2 didn't work.
Any ideas? |

Re: (dsssl) Error using docbook dsssl stylesheets: "X20AC" is not a function name says Quote: | > jade:dtd/ent/iso-amsa.ent:8:19:E: "X21B6" is not a function name
This means that jade doesn't know that ↶ is a hex character reference.
Which means (almost certainly) that it hasn't seen the xml.dcl file that contains the SGML declaration for XML. (so it won't know about other XML features like <foo/>)
Unfortunately you can't (I think) make XML the default like you can with nsgmls as jade needs to read the dsssl sheet as sgml not xml.
easiest is just to put xml.dcl on the command line as in Code: | jade -t tex -d mathmlx.dsl xml.dcl file.xml |
you'll find xml.dcl in the jade distribution. | In your case it appears that "xml.dcl" should be added in the ebuild.
It looks as though it's something for the developers. _________________ The avatar is jorma, a "duck" from "Elephants Dream": the film and all the production materials have been made available under a Creative Commons Attribution 2.5 License, see orange.blender.org for details. |

I had the same problem and first removed the doc useflag.
Later on, i had to compile app-text/docbook-sgml-utils-0.6.14 - same error.
Then i came over this: https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=143192
I re-emerged app-text/sgml-common and docbook-sgml-utils compiled.
I tried the same for libusb libgphoto and fontconfig and it works. |

Seems to have fixed mine too.
Isn't there some way to force emerge to make this happen so each admin doesn't have to discover it independently? _________________ The MyWord KJV Bible tool is at http://www.elilabs.com/~myword
