audacity problem ?

I have emerged audacity yesterday, because i wanted to edit a few livesets, but when I want to edit this one liveset after 3seconds while he's busy to import the mp3 the program just gets killed for no reason I think. I hope someone else could know the answer. Also I checked syslog and nothing is seen there from audacity, I got 2.9gb free for the mp3 to get 'decoded' so I think it's enough.
