I have always had XGL working properly on this box, until today. All I did was hit the restart button by mistake while it was booting up, and now it decided to spazz out on me. Now upon login, XGL does not load. Each time I type compiz --replace, all of the bars around windows disappear (as in, I cannot drag windows, they remain static). Here is a bit of information for when I type certain things...

Code:
glj12@localhost ~ $ compiz
compiz (core) - Error: Screen 0 on display ":0.0" already has a window manager; try using the --replace option to replace the current window manager.
compiz (core) - Fatal: No manageable screens found on display :0.0

Code:

When I run glxgears, I still get good FPS, but an error as well.

Code:
glj12@localhost ~ $ glxgears
Xlib:  extension "XFree86-DRI" missing on display ":0.0".
17908 frames in 5.0 seconds = 3559.600 FPS

Any ideas in terms of resolving this problem, and how to avoid it again, other than not hitting the "reset" button on the computer when it is in the initial boot sequence?

Thanks you very much in advance!
