I needed to reinstall gentoo to create a dual boot system. I backed up everything on a USB drive, installed vista, and I'm now using the 2007.0 LiveCD. Problem is that I can't see my USB drive.
I'm using "gentoo doscsi". I can see my SATA drive, but I can't find my usb storage device. If I plug in a thumb drive, I can see it without any problems. However, if I plug in my usb drive I get errors:

Any ideas? |

Oh geez, I finally tracked down that "damn clicking noise" on my desk. It was the hard drive. I turned it off, repositioned it, and turned it back on. It's working. |
