I am posting my xorg.conf. I am wondering if there is anything I can tweak in here to make Compiz-Fusion run faster. I know it's a mess, I'm going to take care of that. Thanks for any help!

Are you sure the right driver module is loaded, because maybe this is confusing xorg:

I think the fglrx driver is loaded. The fglrx driver is in the aticonfig-device[0] which is loaded in aticonfig-screen[0]. It also makes me wonder if I am loading xgl and compiz correctly. I saw about 5 different ways to do it online but neither of them very clear in what I was doing. Can someone help me make sure I am doing that correctly too? I am coming back to Gentoo after using Debian for a while. The only time I've used Compiz was on Debian so I'm not sure how to do this stuff manually. I am using the xeffects overlay for my sources. I followed the gentoo wiki for Xgl as well as the gentoo-xeffects wiki so something I did may be conflicting.
