Every two times my kernel tried to boot, I get that just hanging for about 4 or 5 seconds, then it goes on for half a second and reboots. This happens twice.
On the third time, the kernel flies by like usual.
What could cause this?

I am also getting frequent "Checks" on my root /dev/sda3. Something about the backup table being different than the real one. It checks it all out and then I get a message that included
****REBOOTING LINUX******
Any ideas?
