Hey all, I'm having a problem with Xfree-4.0 and XFT. Whats the deal. For some reason now they say they are conflicting packages and cannot be installed on the same machine.

Anyway, after an emerge, my fc-cache program is now seg faulting on the 100dpi or 75dpi directories in /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts. If I move them to .old, then fc-cache runs fine but apparently I need these fonts for some apps.

Anyone have any clue what I need to do? I have xft-2.0.1-r2 installed and xfree-4.3.0-r2 installed.

xft is included in xfree 4.3-r2, I just unmerged xft, build xfree and it worked (try to run fc-cache after that)
