I have a small home network going now after a few weeks of reading howtos and browsing forums.
I have installed Exim and courier-imapd-ssl running on my "server" box which also handles all server stuff like apache, shoutcast etc. I call it ServerOne
I have another box that is simply serving files. ServerTwo
ServerOne and ServerTwo have no monitor attached and I use SSH to do anything on them
I have my desktop DesktopOne that runs KDE and is where I do all of my work from.
The problem.
ServerOne has root mail forwarded to user me on ServerOne. User me has a .forward that sends all mail to me.DesktopOne
However, I can't figure out how to have DesktopOne send mail for root to user me.DesktopOne. I can't send email from any account on DesktopOne to ServerOne nor can I send email between local accounts on DesktopOne.
Is there a simple fix for this? |

If you want to send mails, install a MTA like qmail, ssmtp, postfix or whatever. _________________ -->Please add [solved] to the initial post's subject line if you feel your problem is resolved.
