à la fin de ta section "Device". 
Tu as du compiler ton noyau avec le support AGP nvidia (NVAGP) qui crée des conflits avec agpgart. Si ça ne fonctionne pas, remplace 3 par 2.

ben j'ai tout essayé, y compris recompiler le noyau sans le support AGPGART et avec, et j'ai reessayé avec toutes les valeurs nvagp 0,1,2,3 pour les deux (en recompilant les drivers aussi)
pr baptux :
ben en fait c bien beau qu'il me dise qu'il arrive pas à charger le module nvidia, mais comment j'y remédie ????? |

Si ça n'a pas fonctionné avec nvagp 0, le pb ne viens pas du support agp.

le lien "linux" qui se trouve dans /usr/src pointait bien vers le noyau courant lorsque tu as emergé nvidia-kernel ?? |

j'ai pas emerge nvidia-kernel, j'ai execute le driver nvidia, dernier de la dynastie, et il m'a dit qu'il me compilait une interface kernel (pas encore acces à internet avec linux) je vais essayer un lsmod
modprobe NVDriver ??? (fo être dans un repertoire special pour ça ? ou c cense marcher de n'importe ou ?) |

il te faut emerge nvidia-kernel et nvidia-glx
et pour le modprobe oui c'est censé marcher n'importe ou
mais si tu as une des dernièr version des drivers nvidia il faut faire moprobe nvidia |

lsmod ne donne strictement rien (devrait y avoir un truc du style nvidia, non ?)
par contre le fait qu'il n'y ait rien d'autre est normal car j'ai tout intégré au noyau à la compilation
le driver telechargé chez nvidia (v1.00-4363) n'est-il pas censé marcher ???
je vais essayer modprobe nvidia (mais je crois que j'ai déjà essayé)
sinon, y'a-t-il un driver passe partout (qui permet d'afficher sans avoir l'acceleration 3d ???) |

j'ai trouvé le prob grace à votre aide (merciiiiii)
en fait modprobe nvidia ne marchait pas parce que le driver se trouvait sur une partition en vfat or, j'ai copié le fichier sur tmp et j'ai tout refait et là, je fais startx et miracle:!:
