xeffects overlay not being updated anymore?

Hi guys,

anyone knows if xeffects still being updated?

live-ebuild for compiz-fusion don't work anymore (git-repos seem to be wrong / out-dated)

xeffects dropped development on gentoo. the main dev went to arch or fedora or where-ever.

so while the overlay has remained available, no updates are forthcoming.

yeah, thanks - been there, read it, signed it

I thought it was nevertheless maintained & changes being committed (at a slower rate) but obviously I was wrong - any alternative ? :roll:

Well, theyy haven't committed anything in over two weeks and have stopped responding on their own forums. I think it's dead at least until KDE4 is released.

Have you run revdep-rebuild lately? It's in gentoolkit and it's worth a shot if things don't work well.
