I found an old copy of Jedi knight (once again not Jedi knight II) the other day and I decided to play it using winex.
However...
If I run winex-cvs jk.exe as non-root the screen just goes black and I have to kill the process. If I on the other hand run the same thing as root jedi knight starts but only to show this message: Quote: | Insert a Jedi Knight CD and press Enter |
I guess that it's time to point out that there is a cd in the cd drive and that it's been mounted
The cdrom section in ~/.winex-cvs/config looks like this
Code: | [Drive E]
"Path" = "/mnt/dvd"
"Type" = "cdrom"
"Label" = "cdrom"
"Filesystem" = "win95" |
Im currently using winex-cvs-3.1
Any ideas? |

hmm...
If I can find my old copy of Jedi Knight, I can try it out. I don't think I got it to run successfully a while back, but I think I was using Winex 2.2 at the time |
