iv read probably everything i could find on google, and i just cant get this thing to work in master mode.
with the bcm43xx i can get it to go in master mode and broadcast but it just broadcasts as BRCM_TEST_SSID
i am running 2.6.23-gentoo-r5 and i have tryed the b43 & b43legacy drivers but they dont even support master mode
with the bcm43xx driver it goes into master mode just fine but in dmesg i get this and it just broadcasts the BRCM_TEST_SSID
Code: | bcm43xx driver

..and you expect to get a reply with that remark?
Maybe we're trying to see what you're talking about. Some of us try it on a test box or 'book to see if we can get the same results. My laptop was stolen with this card in it so I can't help you.
You just need to be more patient. Don't treat us like.. Erm.. Microsoft.. |
