problems running sim

I have emerged sim im, which went without a hitch. When I try to run it a window with input areas for my ICQ number and password pops up. Nothing strange so far. But when I click the ok button the program shuts down and the error message says Segmentation fault.

Does anyone have any clues to what I am doing wrong? Maybe I missed some part of the installation? Do I need to do anything in addition to the emerging?

I tried looking at their site, but they don't have much information unfortunately.
