Hi Guys

I wonder if someone could help me :

My gentoo intallation is on a 38 gig hdd small by todays standards and i find i need more space.

Common enough problem i think.

I have mounted a second drive succesfully formatted etc and would like to if possible add this hard drives space to a directory on my gentoo install ie my home directory currently has 15 gb of space and i would like to add 100gb from my newly mounted empty second hard drive.

Am i talking gibberish or can this be done .

If so some pointers would be very welcome .

Thanks :)

Moved from Gentoo Chat to Other Things Gentoo.
Not a chat subject, so moved here.

Easiest is to move /home over entirely to the other harddisk and mount that 100GB partition as /home. Another option is to use lvm2, but then you're going to have reorganize a bit more.
