Hi all,
I use openvpn with smartcard. Manual startup (with openvpn --config conf.file) works OK, I am first asked to insert card and then enter PIN.
If I try to use init.d startup script, I get asked for card, but I am never asked for PIN. Openvpn cannot start properly.

Anyone has come across this/has a workaround?
TIA,
shpokas

I did not even know it was possible :)

Certainly something to try out!
Thanks for the hint.

I'm guessing you're running baselayout-1.
You may want to try baselayout-2.0.0_rc6 or OpenRC [1] as they have better tty support regarding input.
