est-ce qu'il est possible de compiler un programme sans que ça prennent toutes les ressources du systèmes

Tu peux lancer ton programme / ta compilation avec "nice". Ca change la priorité d'ordonnancement du programme.
Le paramètre de "gentillesse" va de -20 (haute priorité) à 19 (basse priorité).
Code:
nice -n 19 gcc blabla.c

La priorité par défaut est 0.
Pour utiliser des priorités <0, il faut être root.

Si c'est pour portage, tu peux regarder du côté de l'option "PORTAGE_NICENESS" dans /etc/make.conf
