Hello
I'm trying to record a DVD+RW for the second time. And without success
I was using cdrecord for CD's. I have to use K3b for DVD's.
I record first time, and is ok. Later I do "format DVD", and record second time...
K3b ask me if i want to "overwrite". I say yes otherway it's canceled.
The result is a bad DVD for playing in living room DVD player... What's wrong ? |

Does it work well with your computer? If yes, it might be a problem with your DVD player... I have these problems with some CD-RWs -they do not work in some older CD players. _________________ Never argue with an idiot. He brings you down to his level, then beats you with experience.

No, it has problems reading. It seems the file I copied to DVD is damage. So maybe i'm recording in a bad way ?
The DVD player (new) works well with CDRW's. |

Now I tried (learned how now) with mkisofs and growisofs and the same problem (k3b uses it so no suprise)
There is an AVI file with 2 GB, 3rd recording on a DVD+RW and gives CRC fail on first moments of the movie playback.
This is the third DVD+RW with the same problem ... |
