Is there any good documentation out there on how to configure Wine & WineX once you've got them installed? If not, maybe someone that knows what there doing could write one up quick, that'd be great! Anyway, I'm attempting to use winesetuptk, and it's saying that I don't have write permission to ~/.winex/config, but when I go and look at that file, it's a symlink to /etc/winex/config and the only person that has authority to edit that is root. However, when I login as root and try to run winesetuptk, it says it won't let me edit the config file because it's a global file. So, what should I do? Do I need to make a copy of /etc/winex/config and place it in ~/.winex/config? I'd appreciate any help, or a link to some good documentation... Thanks in Advance!

yeah I think you need to copy the file to the ~/.WineX/config (or whatever the filename is supposed to be) I remember reading that somewhere but I never did get winex configured... its so much easier to just keep windows on another partition for gaming. windows may suck but the Wintendo is key. |

I have found the easiest solution is to goto the .transgaming dir in root and edit it manually ....file is " /root/.transgaming/config "
