My initial problem with compiz fusion was that I was unable to move windows.
// Please see this : https://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-639359.html

Now, whatever changes I make in compiz-fusion through ccsm have no effect. As in there is no effect, I simply cannot change anything that I want. Whatever options are enabled by default, that is it. Nothing else can be done.

If someone would be kind enough t point me towards the solution for this problem, I would be thankful to him/her.

Cheers
Rahul

All right everyone, I can not believe how stupid I was being. Solved one of my problem, they were only arising due to the fact that I was starting compiz-fusion with the gconf option instead of the ccp option. This is what I now use to start compiz :

LIBGL_ALWAYS_INDIRECT=1 compiz --replace --sm-disable ccp &

And the nautilus problem, I think is completely disconnected from compiz-fusion. Would ask that question in other parts of the forum.
