|
|
Hello. I am attempting to install the current universal PPC64 iso onto a Apple dual G5 Powermac (2.5GB) with graphics card ATI X800 XT. The install, md5sum-confirmed CD boots OK. However, very shortly after the kernel starts to boot and the text fills about half the screen the monitor (Mits DiamondPro) goes blank. Any suggestions to get past this obstacle would be appreciated. Thank you. |

Try running gentoo-nofb instead. _________________ “Truth, like infinity, is to be forever approached but never reached.” --Jean Ayres (1972)
