Hello,
Since I updated world (baselayout 1.8.6.10, KDE 3.1.3, some other stuff I don't know anymore) Leafnode doesn't work anymore. It tells me always:
Code: |
root@inspiron heimdall # fetchnews
Leafnode must have a fully-qualified domain name,
not just "inspiron".
Edit your /etc/hosts file to add a fully qualified domain name.

I get the same error when I want to use leafnode with knode.
My /etc/hosts is this:
Code: |
root@inspiron heimdall # cat /etc/hosts
# /etc/hosts: This file describes a number of hostname-to-address
# mappings for the TCP/IP subsystem. It is mostly
# used at boot time, when no name servers are running.
# On small systems, this file can be used instead of a
# "named" name server. Just add the names, addresses
# and any aliases to this file...

I really don't think that I had edited the /etc/hosts before I updated.
Thanks in advance.
