I got a SunSpot today. However, but I cannot let it connect to my system. I have HAL, dbus and hotplug installed.
When I want to deploy demo to SunSpot, it said
Code:
SPOT Client starting...
Port ls: cannot access /sys/devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:1d.1/usb6/6-2/*/*tty*: No such file or directory
/dev/ unavailable...
Available ports: /dev/ttyS0
retrying...

Error: Spot not found on port: ls: cannot access /sys/devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:1d.1/usb6/6-2/*/*tty*: No such file or directory
/dev/ not found
The SPOT client will now exit

Code:
Using Hardware Abstraction Layer (HAL) to probe Sun SPOTS...
ls: cannot access /sys/devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:1d.1/usb6/6-2/*/*tty*: No such file or directory
/dev/ (00144F010000159C)
Then I tried change "port=/dev/ttyS0" it stop here forever
Code:
SPOT Client starting...
Waiting for target to synchronise...
(please reset SPOT if you don't get a prompt)
Also here is the output of dmesg:
Code:
usb 6-2: USB disconnect, address 4
usb 6-2: new full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 5
usb 6-2: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice
I have no clue how to fix it, I emerged RXTX and in tty uucp usb group. Is the problem cause by some kernel options relative to USB device I haven't chosen or some permissions of "uucp" and "lock"? Thanks a lot! |
