Posted: Fri Jan 11, 2008 4:51 pm Post subject: How to tell Joomla I use apache2? (webapp-config) [SOLVED] |
|
|
I've emerged www-apps/joomla-1.0.13.
I followed the ebuild's instruction to run
Code: | /usr/sbin/webapp-config -I -h localhost -u root -d /joomla joomla 1.0.13 |
and I got
Code: | * Fatal error: Your configuration file sets the server type "Apache"
* Fatal error: but the corresponding package does not seem to be installed!
* Fatal error: Please "emerge >=net-www/apache-1.3" or correct your settings.
* Fatal error(s) - aborting |
I use Apache 2, not Apache 1. How do I fix this so I can get Joomla configured? Thanks for any help.

That ">=" means greater or equal version 1.3 ,so maybe you'd check what portage thinks with eix -e apache _________________ 1st use 'Search' & lastly add [Solved] to
the subject of your first post in the thread. |

Known problem, upgrade webapp-config to app-admin/webapp-config-1.50.16-r1 (or newer). |

Thanks to both of you. Upgrading webapp-config worked. Thanks, zeek. |
