Could you send more info? How did you install alsa, in kernel or alsa-driver? |

i compiled alsa-driver myself because when i use emerge emerge alsa-driver, my pc doesn't compile it.
Searching on this forum, i found how to resolve this problem.... compiling alsa myself...
well...
now alsa starts...
but i can't listen any sound yet....
there are more information about my alsa

i've last question...
alsa mixer doesn't save volume...
when i start my pc, i've to set all volumes, every time...
another wrong installation? |

1. Add alsasound to runlevel default Code: | rc-update add alsasound default |
2. In /etc/conf.d/alsasound file set Quote: | RESTORE_ON_START="yes"
SAVE_ON_STOP="yes" |
