emerge dependency problems

Hi all,

I just did an `emerge sync`, and when it got to updating the portage cache, it started outputting a bunch of error messages (see below).

Oh, and when I do a `emerge -up world`, I get a similar list of error messages when calculating the world dependencies. And at the end, I get:

!!! Problem with ebuild media-libs/alsa-oss-0.9.0_rc1
!!! Possibly a DEPEND/*DEPEND problem.

!!! Depgraph creation failed.


Any ideas on how to fix this? (Or even what might have caused it?)
