so I was thinking, of putting together a documentation site, sort of like a knowledge-base, docs, code, bugs etc.. I was thinking of starting with already existing stuff like kernel, glibc, gnutools, X, Gnome, KDE, Qt, GNUe, Mono and many others.
The motivation, "who cares about motivation?". Ok for the sake of it - It would make the life of a lonely developer somewhere, a lot easier.
It will be searchable, will have relational links to something you are looking at, haven't quite worked out most of the things yet? Will also have GPL'ed code - old fashioned code reuse - cut'n'paste - for some really good implementation of some trivial and not so trivial code.
Good idea?
If there is already such a project, could someone redirect me there? |
