1) Integration of BitTorrent in Portage.
2) Concurrent downloading and building of packages. That would shave of quite a lot of time for the initial build and any large packages.
3) Patch and update program like xdelta in Sorcerer Linux to update the existing ISO images. |

Do you mean that Portage should download the files as it needs them while compiling? This would be extremely difficult to pull off, and the overhead of downloading the files individually would make it not worth the trouble. If that's not what you meant, just speak up.

I'm not sure if I know exactly what you mean... What ISO images? But it would be nice if Portage would just download patches for new versions, rather than re-downloading the whole tarball. _________________ Anyone who attributes a quote to themself is a pompous fool.
