Ho appena installlato gentoo 2007.0 ( sono alle prime esperienze con questa distro )
Mi ritrovo con un problemino , ho due lettori dvdrw ide uno hdb e l'altro hdd , con il primo inserendo un cd kde mi chiede se voglio aprirlo in una nuova finestra se confermo lo monta correttamente in system:/media , il secondo dopo la conferma mi da Permissions denied sia da utente che da root
Aprendo konqueror da terminale e tentando di montare il dispositivo mi da
kdecore (KAction): WARNING: KActionCollection::KActionCollection( QObject *parent, const char *name, KInstance *instance )
ASSERT: "!name.isEmpty()" in kdirlister.cpp (971)
L'assurdo è che dal dispositivo incriminato ho installato il sistema

Che versione di KDE stai usando?
Postaci il contenuto del tuo /etc/fstab, magari c'è una voce che rompe le BIIP a kioslave.

Ok, togli o commenta la riga che fa riferimento a /dev/cdrom, manda in confusione il meccanismo di montaggio automatico di KDE. Volendo, fai lo stesso anche x la riga relativa al floppy (/dev/fd0).
