Newer motherboards now include integrated wireless support.
I am now thinking of buying a new mobo and am seeing products such as "ASUS WiFi-AP Solo" which seem to have drivers in the latest Linux kernel.
However, most articles I've seen only try to use these devices as network adapters but not as an access point "à la Hostap" (ref. http://hostap.epitest.fi/).
Is it possible to configure, say, Asus's AP Solo as an access point? |
