Hi All:
The current VDE ebuild is for version 2.1.1 which was released in august 2006.
Stable VDE2 release is now 2.1.6 and a 2.2.0-pre1 is up as well.
Anyone know when the ebuld will get updated?

The latest version in the tree is vde-2.1.6-r1. It is just keyword masked. It has been in the tree since 07 July, 2007.
To get it marked stable, you need to unmask it (in /etc/portage/package.keywords) and try it out. Once you have tested it and verified that it works properly, open a bug against it asking for it to be made stable. |
