Hello, i have a problem and hope to find help here.
i'd buy a new computer a few days ago, and want to install gentoo
but than came this error report:
Code:

bzip2: Data integrity error when decompressing.
Input file = (stdin), output file = (stdout)

It is possible that the compressed file(s) have become corrupted.
You can use the -tvv option to test integrity of such files.

You can use the `bzip2recover' program to attempt to recover
data from undamaged sections of corrupted files.

tar: Unexpected EOF in archive
tar: Unexpected EOF in archive
tar: Error is not recoverable: exiting now

i absoluty don't know the where this problem are comeing from
i have checked the ram with memtest many times, without any errors
some people mean i can be a software problem, but i have try the decompressing under gentoo live cd, knoppix live cd, fedora core 6 and windows xp its all the same.
Some times the decompressing run whitout errors and the next try it came this error.

Edit: Oh i forgot to post my hardware:

ASUS M2N-SLI Deluxe
AMD64 X2 5200+ (AM2)
Gforce 8500GT
2GB Ram

I hope you understand my problem, sorry but my english is not the best.

Where did you get the stage 3 file? If you downloaded it, try downloading it again.
