Hi!
I'm using the Sonata mpd client. The problem i have is that the program freezes from time to time. I noticed that this only happens when playing one band that has the character â('a' with carret on top) in it's name. I was thinking i should reemerge sonata with some flag for extra characters, thinking it is not supported (unicode or whatever, i have no idea). But the character is displayed properly in the program. It turns out the program freezes in the middle of the song, exactly when it is supposed to submit the play to last.fm. With the option for submitting turned off, everything runs ok. Sonata uses python for this option, afaik.
So i need to reemege python maybe, but still i don't know what flag enables these special characters? Unicode?

since sonata itself uses python I don't think re-emerging would help.
which version of sonata you're using? there seems to be some audioscrobbler updates in 1.4 so you should try that. |
