hi all!
my next project is to realize an isdn dial-in solution for my gentoo box. i want to be able to "dial-in" into my gentoo box if my dsl connection is broken so i am able to fix it. for this i want to use my old avm fritz pci card. after some googling i think i have finished my kernel config. i use latest 2.6.23-r6 kernel with this isdn config:
Code: |
area52 linux # less .config |grep ISDN
CONFIG_ISDN=m
# CONFIG_ISDN_I4L is not set
CONFIG_ISDN_CAPI=m
CONFIG_ISDN_DRV_AVMB1_VERBOSE_REASON=y
# CONFIG_ISDN_CAPI_MIDDLEWARE is not set
CONFIG_ISDN_CAPI_CAPI20=m

but according to this forum post https://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-374865-start-0-postdays-0-postorder-asc-highlight-fritz+pci.html
i have a few questions:
it was suggested to emerge fritzcapi. but this package is masked for amd64. what do i have to install?? misdn?? fcpci??
is there still a smp problem (especially with amd64 x2)??
any help or advice would be appreciated.
thx in advance
greets
